From reports and rumours, most credible IGN it looks like Elite may not come to Australia after all.

I doubt Elite sales would be as good as in America.

It's definately coming here! And well... if you really can't wait you could always get a Japanese console from www.play-asia.com when they come out in Asia and it'd be around $740 and you'd have to buy all your games from there, but all games are under $80, and most are around $40 - $60 mark.

But for Australia, there is no official confirmation on a release date yet, stay tuned though, they'll be here soon Smiley

I hope so. Im in the market for a 360 but I dont want one prone to the 3 red lights error. I keep waiting and waiting but eventually Halo 3 will be out and I wont wait any longer. Stupid spoiler ridden internet.

Hey Anthony!
Yeah man, me too! Thats the reason I sold my Japanese console way back when (scared of 3RLOD) However now, all 360's are covered for the 3RLOD for 3 years, and if you do get the 3RLOD your console will be fixed, and probably by the time it does get the RLOD, MS will be putting the new 65mm chips in them and yours will be good as gold! I think now that MS has announced the extension on the warranty, it's a safe time to purchase a 360 Smiley

Problem with that is you dont have a console for several weeks while it gets fixed. Plus the loud DVD drive is another factor and if it isnt 'broken' it wont get upgraded.

Yeah, you're right there, have you considered getting an ESA with EB games? (Extended Service Agreement) Pretty sure that they'll swap your old console for a new one when it breaks any time during 2 years from purchase date, and it's around $85 on purchase. Though there has been some confusion lately whether it's old for new replacement or old for refurbished, I think it varies store to store, poor practise by EB.
