Yea I got it using the Vooks special. Im fine with that, Ive gotten the game early and supported two other Australians.

Anyway. Strikers is going to be enjoyed by almost everyone. I think Im the only one in the world with issues about it. Mainly that with yellow teams (DK, Wario) you have no idea who is on your team, because the skin tone for faces is so similar. Because its so quick I begin to mistake who is on what team. So I play Mario PURELY because he is red. He aint bad though.

The level of polish is very high. This game will impress you. Controls are fine except maybe Dpad for certain important tasks and I wish C and Z were swapped because I keep getting them muddled up.

Online is mostly smooth, 1 bad game so far and 3 or 4 games with 1 or 2 second long freezes... thats good. I was playing long enough to get #11 in the season, mostly from goals scored in lost games (I kept playing people in the top 10 until I became one!!).

here are lots of quitters and unfortunately you get no points if they disconnect their router. Whats even lamer is if you stick around when you are losing is you still get points! So why quit!!!!! ARGH

lameboy doesn't have it. Looking at the other thread, he's interested in buying a Wii and the best deal atm seems to be the Strikers deal, but he's not really interested in the game.
Evil and I should be grabbing the game at e2games tomorrow. I also like the idea of supporting small and local business. Might be up for a couple of online matches on Friday night. Depending on whether or not i feel the need to play the single player first. Are there unlockable characters/modes in the single player?

In this coming weeks Big W catalogue, they've swapped the current $388 Wii+Spiderman 3 deal for Mario Strikers. That means a Wii at less than RRP, and the game for free.


Hopefully I can ditch it for something else we can play.
