Its come to my attention that the dreaded "D2C" chip is now being found inside PAL Wiis. This chip doesn't let you use mod/backup chips.
I figured it was time to finally buy a Wii, before I leave it too late.

What current deal would you guys suggest? I saw BIG W has a Wii with Mario Strikers for $388. Anything better out there?

I'm pretty sure that the BigW deal would be the way to go.
It's pretty hard to pass up!

I'm not really a sports fan. Puzzles are more my thing.
I'd much prefer a console+wiimotes/nunchuks deal.

It might be worth asking. Perhaps if you chose a game that they are selling for less, they might be willing to swap.
Otherwise, there is a Classifieds section here at Economical Gamer.

Just get Strikers, it will have the highest trade in value at EB.

Theres no way I'm trading at EB. They give you something crazy like $5-$25 on games worth $50-100.
I'll either keep it or eBay it.

...Unless theres a better deal out there...

Well, I got one. It has a D2B chip, so I'm safe. Smiley
...And to top it off, I'm sure I gave the cashier $390, but she gave me change for $400.  Grin

...Oh, and for the record, EB offered me $35 for Strikers.  Roll Eyes

Trade-in is evil. Use eBay (or the EG classifieds).
