Guitar Hero 5 is out today on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Wii and comes both stand alone and with a guitar bundle.

Price round-ups are forum discussions that let the community track prices and trade in offers for upcoming releases. It is an opportunity to share trade in exploits, point out online sales, reveal broken street dates and helps reduce work for staff so that we can have more frequent round-ups.

Game.com.au has the standalone editions for 360, Wii and PS3 for $69 each (inc postage) - http://www.game.com.au/showtitle?code=GH5X360 , PS2 for $49 - http://www.game.com.au/showtitle?code=GH5PS2

Big W has the exact same prices minus a dollar - $68 for current gen, $48 for PS2.

Thought you might be interested in this. Guitar Hero 5 gets released today and I have seen it at Games101 for only $77.95 for Wii, PS3 and XB360. They also have the Bundle for $154.95 (XB360, PS3 & Wii) and PS2 for only $134.95. www.games101.com.au

Think the other difference between Game and BigW is that BigW's price starts tomorrow (17th Sept), so be weary of that and dont go in later today expecting the price!

Then again, ordering it from GAME wont get it to you by the end of today anyway!

Edit: Just saw it advertised at Kmart standalone for $79.

They're throwing out GH World Tour full bundles fairly cheaply at a lot of stores, that's gonna be your best way to get the band set.

The new drums are going to be released with Band Hero.  I guess they weren't ready for GH5, or maybe they wanted to clear out the WT drums that they had already manufactured.

Anyone had a go at song importing from GH:WT and/or Hits?

Further, does anywhere know anyone doing Hits cheap?  I played a mate's copy of Hits, and thought as a stand alone game it was pretty boring, but if it were cheap enough it would make a great track pack for 5.

I know that you can't just hire Hits from the video shop and import the songs, as there is a unique code on each copy, but since the game has only been out 2 days, if you were the very first person to hire from the video shop and do it....

Myer had Smash Hits for $39 on the wii, I think a few other places might have the same kind of deal ($40-50).

I haven't tried the import yet, I am waiting to find out if they will charge more for the second batch of songs, assuming they licence more.

I am in the process of importing the World Tour songs - 280 MSP to buy.

It appears that rather than importing them off the disc it is just downloading them.  Its a 1.27GB download, and I haven't had to put the disc in at any stage, just enter my code (although the process isn't complete list).
