New poster, first post!

Personally, and keep that first word in mind peoples, as this is my experience, not anyone elses, so don't try and bash me. k?

I'm a HUGE sony fan. bigtime.  I've got the ps1, ps2, ps3, and a psp. (I travel a lot, and the features of the handheld in terms of sheer boredom killers are great).

I've also got a modded xbox, with about 40 odd titles, and in terms of gameplay, I struggle to discern between the two.  I've stuck with sony due to the added features, which in today's market,  are a definate plus.  Using my laptop as a media server, the ps3 has really come into it's own as an all round media hub.

I do think the ps3 is overpriced though. Surely it could go under that $600 AU mark?  Especially with the current strength of the aus dollar.  I travel for work, and have seen ps3 packs for close to the 400 mark in north america. If the ps3 could be offered for around the 500 mark I think it'd go off.

In terms of hardware reliability, I've never had an issue.  Reliability is a big thing when I make a purchase and so far, sony has been good to me. So much so, my next phone is also going to be a sony.

So yeah. I dig sony.

I don't hate xbox though.  :-)

Lol, I go offline for a week or so, and I completely miss the opportunity to add a balanced view to a fight between a Sony hater and supporter. That could'a been fun Sad

My pS3 is still getting played, Drakes Fortune is pretty good.
