In the market for a gaming console? Not sure where to start looking for the best deal?
Don't worry - Economical Gamer has got you covered.

Console Price Lists are continuously-updated articles, where current available hardware deals are summarised in an easy-to-read format. Please feel free to use the rest of the thread to discuss prices and bundles, as well as contribute your own info!

The first post of each thread is edited and kept up-to-date with the latest catalogue specials, but remember to scroll to the bottom and check out one-off specials that people have discovered.

I wouldn't mind buying a PSP GO but the prices are just outrageous. If i do ill probably arrange to import a consoles. Got a mate over in Canada atm so ill probably get him to send me one over.

Full Retail Price in Canada is $249.99 Canadian dollars. Thats $269 Australian Dollars

and im sure u can arrange a courier for about or under $50AUD.

That would be a smart move.  I hope a few of the places offer some good deals when it launches (like cheap Sony memory stick deals).

i'm having the same difficulty justifying the premium price. i want the Go, but it's so gimped compared to the 3000!

that $367 from fishpond is looking mighty tempting though...

I want to get that special edition GT bundle. The Game one with 'Preorder, GT Bundle + Keyring + DLC + 2GB Memory Stick' seems good. Not sure if they all come with the GT PSP with the little logo on it.
I have Wish cards so I hope Big W or DSE come out with something better.

EDIT: Saw a PSP + GT bundle on the dse website, although i'm not sure if it's the limited edition bundle or just the game + original black psp-3000.

Heya Fishpond here

We only charge what you pre-order the product for but we do currently have a bug where if we drop the price and you pre ordered for a higher price you have to pay the higher price, Suffice to say we are in the process of fixing this and it will be live after Xmas.

Suffice to say this price wont last for long but if you pre-order we guarantee it

our new price is
PSP GO $411.23  http://www.fishpond.com.au/Games/PSP/General/product_info/15566392/?cf=3&rid=1720948490&i=10&keywords=psp+go

PSP3000 $277.93  http://www.fishpond.com.au/Games/PSP/Accessories/product_info/15344484/?cf=3&rid=1083027804&i=3&keywords=psp+console

Hey all. Just saw HN has PSP3002 Retribution pack for $259. Only 3 left but you could get JB to price match and possibly get their free offer of Transformers with every PSP too. Worth a go.

One benefit of PSP3000 is it has CFW enabling iso/cso and user-created games/apps
