Hi All,
Just compiling a list of popular game sites where you can import games from and a short description. To help new comers buy games from reputable sites from overseas. Love to see other peoples lists....
Play Asia Popular asian games site that has stable prices and a weekly special that comes out every Wednesday.
Average prices for new games: $54-$64 USD + $3.90 USD postage. Average prices for older games: <$40 USD + $3.90 USD postage. Payment Methods: Paypal, Credit Card, Bank Deposits (for Australians) Transport Time: Usually 2 weeks on standard postage. Recommendation: Definately buy from this site when you have a $5-10 voucher or when the Aussie Dollar is up. And I recommend direct deposit into their bank account in Australia as that way you avoid the currency conversion fees.
dvd.co.uk UK based site that sells DVD, Games & Electronics.
Average prices for new games: ?30-?50 + ?1.00 postage. Average prices for older games: <?15 + ?1.00 postage. Payment Methods: Credit Card Transport Time:2 weeks or less Recommendation: Great for the older games that you've missed out on, new release games are a decent price and generally cheaper than Australian Retailers. Sometimes they have 2 for ?25 or 2 for ?30.
365games.co.uk UK based site that sells video games and accessories, looks like a no-frills video game site.
Average prices for new games: ?30-?50 + ?0.50 postage. Average prices for older games: <?15 + ?0.50 postage. Payment Methods: Credit Card, Paypal Transport Time: 2 weeks or less (quicker than dvd.co.uk) Recommendation: Similar to dvd.co.uk, but sometimes you might find things cheaper. They also sell on ebay, however their postage is $8.99, but at least you pay in Australian dollars via paypal thru bank deposit or CC.
CD WOW Australia version of CD Wow UK, selling video games, dvds, etc.
Average prices for new games: $70-$89 + FREE postage. Average prices for older games: <$50 + FREE postage. Payment Methods: Credit Card, Paypal Transport Time: 2 weeks or less (although it looks Australian, you'll get UK Pal / NTSC games from Hong Kong, strange) Recommendation: Has been unpopular lately due to stock shortages, and delays in postage, however you'll get what you ordered one day. You'll generally save a few $$, but if you're impatient go to JB-HiFi. Once waited 5 weeks for a game to come in. Finally, wait till Friday before placing an order, they usually take $2-$5 off on Fridays storewide or release a coupon thru email.
Sendit.com Another UK site, similar to dvd.co.uk. Haven't bought from here, but they occaisionally have nice sales.
Average prices for new games: ?30-?50 + ?1.60 postage. Average prices for older games: <?15 + ?1.60 postage. Payment Methods: Credit Card, Cheque Transport Time: 2 weeks or less (assume) Recommendation: Great for the older games that you've missed out on, they sometimes have crazy sales and you mite find the same game ?1-2 less, than 365games and dvd.co.uk.
Yesasia.com Hong Kong dvd, video games site. Generally quite expensive and sells items at RRP.
Average prices for new games: $60+ USD Average prices for older games: Varies. (some of the older games are at full price) Payment Methods: Credit Card, Paypal Transport Time: 2 weeks or less Recommendation: Not highly recommended but a reputable site, they might have a crazy sale from time to time. Check in on it from time to time.

Use the conversion calculator on the main page, gbp is roughly *2 so you're looking at 3.2 bucks

Pounds 1.60 for AUS postage, so, as Neo says, just over 3 bucks.

Ok heres another site for the list:
Stomp2.com
This site is basically the same as CD Wow, (run by the same people) same structure and products. You might think that their prices are lower but its not, its in USD. After conversion its the same as CD Wow Australia.
Average prices for new games: $54-$63.99 USD + FREE postage. Average prices for older games: <$40 USD + Free postage. Payment Methods: Credit Card Transport Time: Usually 2 weeks on standard postage. Recommendation: You recieve the same buyer experience as CD Wow. I suggest you purchase from this site when the Aussie Dollar is high (you mite save some $$ through currency arbitrage) or else your better off purchasing from CD Wow to avoid the currency conversion.

CDwow.com.au is very fishy. I added peggle DS so my wishlist for $26.95 the other day. Today I got an email with a $2 voucher, So I go to my wishlist and when I click peggle it says 'This page cannot be found' yet when I do a search for peggle, it comes up but as $46.95.... I'm very interested to see how much it will be come 1st June as the voucher expires on the 31st of this month.

Perhaps you'd be willing to add Video Game City ( www.VideoGameCity.ca) to your list of companies that ship worldwide. We are a Canadian games retailer with a selection of games for all formats, including Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and Sony PSP as well as PC gaming products. Video Game City ships worldwide and prices are in Canadian Currency.
