The extra foot pedal means that people don't have to buy the full band package to get it's double-kick pedal. Activision sent me a second pedal when my drums went in for warranty. Extra pedal + headphone cable splitter = double kick drums

Metallica isnt coming in the full band package i've been told. If you're good enough to play drums on expert plus thats the only setting you can use the second foot pedal

That can't be right. I use my second foot pedal in GH: WOrld Tour regardless of difficulty setting. Both pedals connect to the same input on the drums, and send the same signel, but a second pedal just gives you a second pedal to do exactly the same thing, unless they've changed it in Metallica.

Good point Ninja! Im unsure on that. Was told that you could only use it on expert plus but you do raise a valid point!

Well, I guess most would probably only need it on Expert+ (I found that using 2 foot pedals was difficult, it's hard enough to use one!) but yeah, it definitely works in whatever mode you use.

yup, the only bundle there's gonna be includes a world tour guitar with metallica faceplate, no drums/mic. i think id read somewhere about being able to use both pedals on any difficulty in ghm (no idea where though) and honestly, i cant see any reason why you wouldnt be able to. its not like it neccesarily makes things easier, theres a bit of a learning curve in using two pedals at once.

What is meant by the guide?, is the forum the guide? is there a place that shows price round ups, not just preorder deals

In future there will be. I just merged an existing thread the day before launch. In future these will go up in advance as guides, and I hope members will discuss things like they did with Metallica and as they are doing with inFAMOUS (ill need a guide for that very soon)
