I've been following the Wii port of Dokapon Kingdom, and it looks totally sweet. Just only listed as coming to the US... =( Anyone here know of anything I might have missed regarding that?

Also, I'm really hoping Trauma Center: New Blood comes out here soon, since the first Wii version got released very recently here. Does anyone who has imported it recommend I wait for it, or get Second Opinion now and New Blood when it comes out? The game concept looks pretty cool to me.

Lastly, does anyone know why the UK is the only place the get the C64 on the Virtual Console? There are a couple of games on there I'd like to try...don't see why it couldn't be available here

Dokapon Kingdom does look like a blast, but at this time I don't think a PAL publisher has signed on for it. Keep an eye on Koei since it seems like the kind of niche game they would be releasing in Europe/Australia but don't hold me to that.

Might as well get Second Opinion now, since we need to send a message to publishers that we WANT these games A.S.A.P. and a game that sells well will see a followup in a much shorter time period then something that flops.

I don't know the reason why, but it pisses me off since this is the TurboGraphix situation all over again only without more people complaining. I was really looking forward to downloading The Last Ninja games but now just get to be jealous of our UK brothers and sisters.

Heh, yeah. I mean, really, are the Nintendo Australia peeps still busy with the Australian Club Nintendo thing?

BTW, just saw this:

Apparently a new game by the Sonic creator. Looks...interesting.

EDIT:

Oh, also, I don't believe Blast Works came out in Australia, did it?

Another +1 to getting Second Opinion. I bought it about 12 months ago (GameTraders had the imported version cheap when i was there) and I like it.

I don't think we should even ask about AU Club Nintendo Tongue

Been able to regoster since AU Mario Kart Wii release, but still no word on when the Club will open <_<

BTW, just finished listening to IGN's Nintendo podcast, and someone actually asked about why the C64 wasn't in the US VC yet Smiley The guys thought it was most likely that it just wasn't as popular there...lame.

According to www.atari.com.au Blast Works: Fuse and Destroy will be release in Aus and NZ on the 5th December 2008. This is a game I'm really looking forward to.

I'm very surprised that the C64 games haven't been released here, given how popular the C64 was here. Mind you I would only buy Paradroid if it was.

I'd like the first Club Nintendo Australia offer to be those Game and Watch titles for the DS - they look brilliant.

Good news, thanks! I was hoping that they'd at least start selling it for $50 considering the official price cut in the US to (I think) $20, but seems it'll still be full price.
