With NCAA Football 09 already out and about and Madden 09 set for release this week, the big sellers are set to stun everyone with their roster updates once again! Over the next couple of months we get the chance to update to Fifa 09, NBA Live 09, Pro Evo 09, Tiger Woods 09 and much more depending on what systems you own. So what games (if any) are people planning to buy this year?

Myself, I'm heavily leaning to Madden 09 All-Play for the Wii. While I normally cry foul when developers make a simplistic dumbed down experience for the Wii, American Football is a sport that needed a simplistic conversion to avoid scaring off those who have not played the game for a few years (like myself) and while the All-Play features continue the 'kiddy Nintendo image' they can be completely ignored in favour for the deep career modes and Friend Code free online play!!! Also I feel inclined to give in this year to a Madden game because its the 20th anniversary for the series and all, and depending on Big W/Toys R Us/JB Hifi prices I may be buying it next week.

I'm open to these other games turning out awesome too, and if they are appealing enough to me I may even give in to other temptations (such as Pro Evo, hehe)

So, which 09 sport games look good to everyone else?

Fifa 09, either on Wii or 360.  I have never played a soccer sim on Wii, so maybe it's time I should.

I imported NCAA 09 is done so well, plays smooth the new animations look great and the game play is awesome. I buy madden every year cant help my self plus the new features looks great, although the demo released for the PS3 is a waste of time... you get to try one historical event on 4th down make the giants win and thats it for a 1.2gig download.

They normally seem to be well considering they put out these games every year you favorite one is normally worth a look. I'd say ill most likely buy FIFA 09 as well.
