A game that needs no introduction, Batman Arkham City has conveniently had its street date broken nice and early in the week!

Price round-ups are forum discussions that let the community track prices and trade-in offers for upcoming releases. It is an opportunity to share trade-in exploits, point out online sales, reveal broken street dates and helps reduce work for staff so that we can have more frequent round-ups.

Great pricematch AND getting that Blu-Ray to boot. I traded in 3-games-for-1 at JB for my pre-order. Have to work late this entire week so I won't be able to pick up my game until Friday. Sad

I feel your pain. I haven't played it yet, I have been playing Mass Effect 2, I'm on my second play through this time on insane difficulty trying to get the platinum. Sat up until 2am last night, I'm around 3/4 through now. I reckon one more long session will do it.

Manager at JB pitt street wouldn't price match for me for Arkham City, said he would match without the DLC. Ended up doing so, after a lot of hassle, even though I pre-ordered and paid for it well in advance. A bit disappointed JB head office did this, the manager himself seemed like he didn't want to price match. If it was below his cost price I could understand but it's been more than a headache, looks like I need to find a new place to price match from. Shame JB, shame... I think their head office is starting to make it hard for their staff. The manager was actually ok, if he reads this thanks for doing the right thing. This is the first time I had a bad experience with JB.

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn't started Arkham City. Install the Catwoman DLC straight away as it changes the opening of the game according to IGN - http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/119/1199706p2.html

Sorry, I know this isn't price related but thought it might be helpful.

EB Broadway wouldn't price match either - best he would do was $88.

Didn't have time to check the 24hr Kmart there yet.

Hopefully they have it for $69 as listed on the site - not sure if they broke street date.

well if you guys cant find anyone to price match, you can get mightyape to price match it for you (theres a link on the page, for you to ask to beat the price, but if you can offer proof, like that reciete, they will automatically do it) http://tiny.cc/d0i2f, although you have to pay for postage and wait for it to arrive, so probably not the best option if someone wants it now.

And i for one am starting to get annoyed at JB and EB as of late, why advertise you will price match, if you dont bother 90% of the time.

So which places have broken the street date? I popped into Kmart (Canberra) today, and I didn't see it on the shelf. I got the attendant to check out the back, but no go.
