So, with a lot of awesome new releases coming out in the next couple months. I want to buy/import some games but I have been hesitant too, because of the fear that Aus DLCs won't work with imported EU/UK games.

I have done some research on this topic, but with no clear answer. (Maybe my Google searching abilities aren't what they use to be or I'm just getting lazy).

Anyways, I'm pretty sure you guys have purchased online, so I'm just wondering if you have had or read or heard of any problems with DLC compatibility with your Imported games?

Oh and this question is mainly directed to Xbox 360 DLCs/Games but problems with DLC with PS3 games will also help.

I only know mainly of PS3, but usually the EU versions of dlc should work with AU games... i dont see why they wouldnt since the AU versions of games still use the EU versions of games.

The only problems that could arise would be with the specific numbers from the games eg - BLES xxxxx, which the dlc on the psn store usually specifys the number it associates with.

Not too many games do this though. Check the side of the game cover for the specific number.

I wouldnt quote me directly with this though, i havent personally tried games from Europe on my ps3 with dlc. Also, i have no idea about the 360... check with someone else with that =/

AUS dlc works fine with o/seas games as log as they are the from the same region. I purchased Alan Wake from UK and bought the AUS dlc and it worked fine.  The only game I know has a problem with dlc is "Scene It: BoS"
Hope this helps.

Enslaved Odyssey to the West DLC doesn't work here if you have the EU version

That's 2 games so far.
It'd be good for other members to add their experiences with o/seas DLC so we can create a list of some sort.
