I just purchased 2 1500 MS points cards from DS today and when I try to redeem them I get satus code: 801613FB (on both codes)

Has anyone else had this problem? (or gotten them to work)

Do I take them back do dick smith or ring xbox support?

Did they run them through a machine at the store to validate them? I bought 2 yesterday and the guy behind the counter swiped them in some machine to activate them after I'd bought them. I'd say take them back to Dick Smith.

Sorry to semi-kinda-hijack, but where is this sale?  I tried finding it on the site yesterday and again today. It is an in-store only thing or something.

its a pretty damn good price for MS points, which almost never seem to go on sale anywhere. Sad

Thanks guys.  Picked up 6 cards today in store.  Thinking of buying more next week.  Honestly its like buying money.. with less money.  I give them $40, they give me $50.

I'm actually really surprised this happened...I work for DS and I got screwed too. The system is *usually* set up to avoid 'human' mistakes like this. e.g. If an iTunes card barcode is scanned the computer will request the card's serial number before processing the item (let alone the sale) and then once the payment has been approved it will activate the card.

edit: lets riot!!!
