Strange trade in at game

during the last game sale (trade 2 games + $1 promotion at Game)
1 did this trade deal about 20 times in total at various game shops.
On the last day of the sale i was at game and when i was at the register the salespeople mentioned my name regarding to doing alot of trades and then it was awkward when they asked for my id for the trade and realized it was the same person they were talking too.
has anyone else had a similar thing happen,does this mean im on a list of people to watch out for?  ps they were still happy to trade in that day
