Site problems - in detail

To keep people informed of whats happened recently. Log in and out syncronising issues have persisted no matter what I've tried so far. Had a PM from a member today saying he was temporarily signed in as another user and became far more alarmed at the news. To my knowledge his has happened only once.

I have reverted back the forum side of the site-forum connector to what it was prior to the update. Normally this would be unadvisable (running old versions along side new) but given my limited time and the dangerous nature of what was in place before, I think I'll run the risk of non-security related bugs over security bugs. Having said that, I have not isolated the problem, I haven't reverted the entire site but just one small plugin. That plugin may not be the cause.

I ask that members to please continue reporting any odd behaviour relating to signing in or out of the site and forum, as well as continuity between them both.

I have not ben able to log in to the front page for quite a while now.  Talking .. over a year or more?  I keep getting a message that says "Invalid Token".

That is the only issue I have found so far.

New look is quite nice, if a little "white".  Love the Toe Tag for the header lol!

The "Show posts since last visit" is missing.  I need that back please.  Its how I read the forums.

I think what you're after is next to the PM count in the upper left corner.

Ah! Thankyou Anthony, that was indeed precisely what I was after.  I incorrectly assumed that was something related to the PMs.

HeDanny, to work around the login issues on the site I've actually eliminated the forum login altogether and now the only way to get in is via the site login mechanism. If you need assistance and cannot reply/PM use the site contact form to get in touch. I don't want to leave your issue unresolved.

So far so no problems mate.  Its still logging me in auto via cookie etc.  If it goes pear next time I clean my browser I'll let you know. Somehow.

mildly related, its .. quite white in here.  A bit harsh on the ol' eyeballs.  Any chance of the place getting a bit of a tan or something? Other than that its all good.
