Don't be mofo, I'm sure it's just a matter of learning the controls.

It is not living up to my memories of back as an arcade game. But that is always hard to achieve, living up to youthful memories. The iPhone version is pretty bloody good though - still $1.19 at the moment.

Deleted his posts.. and will delete any further (not a fan of spammers who use their sigs to link to all sorts of random ****)... don't think that spambot will be posting any more though.

I dislike random spam, though sometimes it provides a creative outlet for me to post a sarcastic reply.
Oh yeah Arjay, did you manage to download your free games from the Welcome Back program on PSN before it ended (and I think it may have ended already...not sure as I'm currently overseas and have been for the past couple of days)?

that's my take on spam too. thanks to the heads up provided by yourself (and other forum users here) I managed to queue up the downloads... now that I'm back in an area with moderately workable wireless internet I may have to start downloading them properly.. I have to free up / increase my HDD space though.. time to buy a cheap portable HDD and upgrade my original 60gig I think.

No worries...as long as you got in before the Welcome Backl program ended, you'll just be able to re-download the games anyway. Upgrade...60Gb is a pittance nowadays.

NBA 2K11 is a hell of alot better then NBA Jam. I bought Jam on a whim, played it for literally 30 mins and put it back in its box and forgot I ever bought it. (massive fan of the old game, but it just dosnt have the depth i remember)
NBA 2K11 I have sunk a good 80-100 hours into it (maxed out my player at 99)... great game and im not even into sports games.

Speaking of which, NBA 2K12 is released this Friday. Can't wait...I've already pre-ordered my Larry Bird edition (think it's just probably Bird on the cover).

I've just recently purchased NBA Jam: On Fire Edition on the PSN and it is heaps fun to play.
Have played a couple of games on NBA2K12, but I keep coming back to NBA Jam for that arcadey "one more game" feeling!
Blasted Jambots are hard to beat though.
