Anyone else pre oder the GT 5 Signature Edition?

I pre ordered it for $229 but now I am thinking of canceling it as its not limited. It seems anyone with the $$ can purchased this edition so in the end ever Tom, Dick & Harry will have it making it worthless and not rare. What happened to a limited number so first in gets it and the rest miss out?

What does everyone else think?

this has to be one of the most expensive Editions of a game in recent history and its not even limited ?! what are they thinking ?
wait i know they are probably just looking to make a quick buck just because they called it a special edition

as for me this game should hit platinum pretty quick judging from previous entries in the series so i wouldnt pay more than 40 bucks tops

Does it truly matter if the edition is limited or not?
Most people won't buy it because of the price.
So the price will be the limiting factor

Lets face it guys! Its the 5th version in a series that will have a 6th, 7th and 8th version... You would be delusional to think this will go up in value... You can buy GT 4 on ebay for $5 dont think for a second it will increase!

Only games that are Rare  and are first edition will be worth anything in the future.  (Remember 'Rare' dosnt mean expensive to buy when new  Roll Eyes ! it means the opposite of popular )

I see games becoming like books from that POV.

If a Collectors Edition isn't limited then you can wait months, even years and get it cheaper. I think thats what this is about?
