The highly popular stealth series returns this week with the much anticipated Splinter Cell: Conviction. Due out this week on Thursday the 15th I'm sure many of you will be pleased the wait is almost over. We've got the typical forum thread started so you can discuss prices and broken street dates.

Price round-ups are forum discussions that let the community track prices and trade in offers for upcoming releases. It is an opportunity to share trade in exploits, point out online sales, reveal broken street dates and helps reduce work for staff so that we can have more frequent round-ups.

I got the JB hi fi special edition pack pre-order, because it comes with a Chaos Theory download ^^ From what I can tell, neither Game nor EB advertised that.

I dont think you need to preorder the special edition per say to get chaos theory and double agent for pc.
i think its part of a preorder package. Going to price match kmart at Jbhifi when i pick up mine. not sure if i really want the special edition or not after finding out that SP campaign is 5 hours long.

I decided to pre-order from JB as well they had the most extras with their pack. I would ask the staff (speak to the person who runs their games section) if your wanting to get the pre-order pack though as stores are apparently only be getting a handful of these and some have already exhausted their allocations.

I hope I get mine... Undecided

I have pre-ordered the standard edition for Xbox 360 in EB as I had 85 Dollars credit for Biochock 2, I was assured I would get the pre-order pack and also the shotgun code and backpack. EB aren't that trustworthy but I wanted to get them to pricematch JB which is next door to them in Sydney CBD. At least we aren't paying extra for the shotgun or extra DLC like the UK are, we are getting that for pre-ordering. Fingers crossed they are not going to try hobble me without giving what they promised, the guys in the CBD outlet seem like good people though. I was told by JB in Leichthardt that it will be 79 Dollars for the standard edition. Harvey Norman staff told me they will be doing the best price for both the collectors and standard edition too. Hopefully we will get concrete info this week.

any news on a trade back EB deal yet?

I doubt they would be doing that considering that the sigle player campaign is only 5 hours long.

I've pre-ordered from EB Games, price matching Kmart's $78.

I think that's the cheapest price around. May make a profit if i trade it back in fast.

I have the Kmart catalogue to show EB staff for the price matched price of 78 Dollars, fingers crossed it works, JB use catalogues. I have an 85 Dollar credit note from Bioshock 2 trade. JB staff member told me yesterday they are doing it for 89 Dollars. I think JB might have made losses with the 3 for 1 deal in the past. If anyone sees it cheaper please edit it here, otherwise I will update tomorrow morning once I get the game. The staff at EB in Sydney CBD told me they would match the Kmart price if its in stock. Don?t let me down Kmart, ha!
