Then return it and use the credit for Heavy Rain, probably best to tell them what you are doing

^ Which is why it is safer to say you cannot, most JB staff will tell you they won't do it. I've had one dude do for me once, but he said he wouldn't a second time.

Once I was offered the choice of PS3 or 360 for Assassin's Creed 2 when trading 360 games. It took me by surprise as I thought you couldn't. Definitely it's to do with who you get at the time, but it also may be to do with if the game is on both consoles or not. It does happen, but 'officially' you aren't supposed to.

sorry to hijack the thread but how do you do the 3-for-1 trade deal at JB? Do you just go up to a staff member dedicated to gaming and tell them?

Just go to the point of sale and they'll call over someone to do it for you.
