(I posted this on palgn, but haven't gotten many names of songs yet, so I'm posting here)

Been going to alot of eBgames lately and noticed they are all playing the same songs, possibly off same mix CD. I've heard a lot of the songs but unfortunately don't recognize the names of the songs.

Does anyone know the CD they are playing, or can list the names of the songs they recognize?

There is a particular song that I think has a girl that sings "oh.....oh.........." (or maybe "gone.....gone....")  then a guy sings the chorus.

Its got very nice music but I can't figure out the name of the song.

Thanks!!

I hate to point out the obvious, but why not just ask next time your there? I'm sure they'll have the decency to tell you what CD/track it is. Alternatively, you can ask to see the CD cover if they have it.

Anytime I've gone anywhere where I've really enjoyed the music playing over the store, I always ask what it is and I've never had the store person refuse to tell me. If anything they'll take it as a compliment, particuarly if the person your asking chose it.

The only one I can think of is Rock That Body - Black Eyes Peas

I think that EB stores have a paricular digital radio station that they use across all their stores (a lot of businesses are doing it that way now, I could name a couple of Pharmacy chains that do it).  If that's the case (and depending on each stores individual hardware set-up) any staff member at EB should have no worries telling you what the song is and who it's buy (some of the hardware that is uised in these setup's lists all that info on a little display).

or... they could just have a mix CD that gets sent out every week or two... either way, I'd go for cheapo's obvious and direct approach of just asking.

OMG yes! This is SO annoying when tradebaiting. they have that song that has a woman singing that's like "you play those games..." and something else. Just sounds like such a ****py song. And they have the hard-sell children's presenter-style"DJ" that sounds incredibly homosexual telling you about their ****py, rubbish rip-off deals over the music.

I feel sorry for the workers, if I worked there I'd go insane. It's ALWAYS the same song on when i'm there. It's as if they only have about two.

I've been waiting for that song to pop up again so I could ask them, but it hasn't been played since the half dozen times I've visited eB since when I last heard it.  Fingers crossed it'll come up again in the near future so I can finally ask and find out.
