Hah! Puzzle Quest is Awesome.  it was the last game I finished on DS just recently, and have in the past finished it on PC and PS2.  I am still considering getting it on x360 via the arcade due to that being the only version to get the expansion pack.  There is also the GALACTRIX version (I have that on PC and DS) and the upcoming Chronicles title as well.

Currently trying really hard to "appreciate" System Shock 2, but I .. just can't.  Its like every single thing you have to do disrupts the immersion and natural flow and enjoyment.  I am completely stunned at how well they built the asmosphere, but the gameplay is killing it for me.  I might have to reluctantly abandon it and just go on to BioShock.

Today at some point will start Condemned Criminal Origins.

Anyone got the Uncut Version of Left 4 Dead 2? Do you reckon it is worth getting or should I get the Saboteur or Army of Two: 40th Day?

I've got L4D2 uncut on PC and its an absolute blast, already gone through the campaigns on expert mode and now we're going back through it on realism expert mode Smiley.

I don't know about Saboteur but I can recommend Army of Two: the 40th day, it doesn't do anything new or even presents itself to be creative. But as a linear tactical shooter its pretty good, the shooting is tight, gun customisation variety is abundant and the coop mechanics are great (especially the mock surrender mechanics). Playing through with an AI partner has overall been smooth for me despite reviews, it feels like the game has a sixth sense and always knows what your trying to do, such as I can tell the AI to hold position and it'll automatically draw fire away from me.

Turth.

Gave GALACTRIX (DS) a quick bash last night. What's ... with .... the ..... loading ............ times? It's as bad as my PS copy of Bayonetta, and that's saying something!

Trying to get back into Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. So far so good.

Got an acceptance Email from Microsoft too about being an Xbox Ambassador so I guess I'll have to cutmy gaming time a bit and spend more time helping others on forums =]

After recently finishing Assassin's Creed II I finally sat down to play Mass Effect for the first time; and after sitting down with that for a few hours I had to go down to my local EB and pre-order the collectors edition.
I know people have been saying it for a long time but it's SUCH a good game.  I enjoyed Borderlands and all, but I found it kinda.. flat... the story was pretty meh, but the billions of slightly varied guns were a huge incentive (who doesn't love a 2 shot revolver that packs more of a punch than any of the shotguns ever could?).

Been playing Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on PS2.  Its nothing like Silent Hill, but once you get over that its actually a really interesting game.  Not even remotely scary or spooky which for most will be a terrible disappointment, but the way they are telling this radically different story of Harry looking for his daughter is really, really intriguing.  The so called "pyschological Profiling" the game is supposed to do as you play is a farce, but explaining why would be spoiler.

Played the first two levels of Condemned: Criminal Origins and didnt like it at all. Boring Snail Paced dull-a-thon.  Fortunately I like idea of the "mystery" in there, so will stick with it until the mystery loses its interest.
