One of my favourite sections of ecogamer is "store feedback", mainly because it's allowed me to make purchases at stores I was unaware of and expanded my choices when it comes to importing games.

However, I think it would be informative to have the shipping/postage costs these stores charge as I have seen a few messages in the shoutbox asking this. Myself included. I can get the ball rolling by providing shipping costs of a few of the sites that I have collated and used. If I have made any errors, feel free to correct them or please add other stores to the list.

www.365games.co.uk - free!
www.cdwow.com.au - free!
www.dvd.co.uk - $1.80AU/1.00GBP per game*
www.blahdvd.com - $1.80AU/1.00GBP per game*
www.sendit.com - $4.20AU/2.35GPB per game*
www.thehut.com $4.20AU/2.35GPB per game*
www.zavvi.com $4.20AU/2.35GPB per game*

*Higher for heavier items - special editions/ box sets etc.

Its a very nice idea and kudos for putting the time in to start up a list. Unfortunately I just dont have the time to do it myself. Given that there are multiple shipping methods for each store, that can sometimes be different depending on the size of the order and may change at any time you can see where large volumes of time can be lost or information become out of date and never noticed.

I have been putting free shipping notices on those that do free shipping though, since thats pretty straight forward.

No problems at all Anthony, and I do agree that shipping can definitely vary depending on the size of the order.
I suppose I order standard games/dvds so I find shipping is always much the same for me.

If further people add shipping information about other stores (as I can only go by stores I've ordered from), at least
it's there for reference and I can always add to the above list if need be. Smiley

Gameplay uk

Linked to Game somehow

Recent instance supplied used game as new.

Admitted they had stock control problems and store items were being resealed and sent out as new.

Anyone notice the similarities with Game?

Buyer beware warning - they also don't like responding via email.

oh and they pack the secondhand games they sell as new fine if you're interested in buying scratched discs from them.
