There are three figures including Tree Rex and a portal in the  starter pack with all the stuff you listed. The portal owners pack is the lesser one with just the game and giant.

Yeah - Portal Pack we haven't had time to put up just yet, my feelings were that the starter would have a bit more popularity - thus it is up first.

Is there any interest in the Portal?

For just $10 more, the starter pack gets you two more figures and a (backup) portal. People would be mad to buy the portal owners pack.
