Anyone know of any logical reason why TheHut and Zavvi don't price match each-other?

I want to place an order with TheHut of a few games, one of which is The Amazing Spider-Man. Zavvi has it at 27 pounds compared to 40 pounds at TheHut. They won't match it even though I'm long-time customer, buying a bunch of games.. Gives me the ****s!

My guess would be because it's too much time, hassle and labour in doing so. Their prices are pretty good already and to put further resources into something that is only going to cost them money doesn't make much business sense. Their attitude given they are operated by the same group is that if you see it cheaper Zavvi than TheHut, just buy it on Zavvi.

May I ask why this is an issue for you?

@wingman, I know.. that's why it's so stupid that they can't match one-another.

Anyways, happy ending to the story, both websites dropped the price to 24.95 pounds before I placed my order.
