The latest Mario Kart hits the 3DS this Saturday (yes Saturday), December 3rd.

Price round-ups are forum discussions that let the community track prices and trade-in offers for upcoming releases. It is an opportunity to share trade-in exploits, point out online sales, reveal broken street dates and helps reduce work for staff so that we can have more frequent round-ups.

Big W has it for $48.

JB-Hi-Fi was also selling Super Mario 3D Land this past week for $49, though I don't know if this applies to all stores (it's still $59 online and in their current catalogue), or if the price was cut due to the store being within the vicinity of a Target store. Either way, it's more than likely that at least some stores will stock Mario Kart 7 for $49 in order to remain competitive.

Just to note, you may wish to change the date from November 3rd to December 3rd... i doubt its been out for almost a month yet =/

As with Mario 3DS, I cannot fault Game at $58 with a free plush Mario toy... as much as I dislike the changes in pre-order/trade games with the Broadway store the 3DS pre-orders have been excellent. If they could only get it right for the other consoles I don't think they would be in as much trouble as they are closing stores. Will pick Mario Kart up Saturday as I am hooked on Mario 3DS.

sillygostly: I, too, was surprised when I saw Super Mario 3D Land for sale at $49 at JB Hi-Fi at Westfield Doncaster (in VIC) on Saturday. Some of the game prices have dropped drastically at JB too...Uncharted 3 Special Edition now only $89 at JB!

I've already got my pre-order at Game, the plush is a bonus that I don't really want or need it. Going to try and price match but I'm not very hopeful.

Never mind the fact that HN was selling UC3 Special Ed for $78 from the day of release =P
Got EB to match JB's $49 on Super Mario 3D and still got Tanooki hat, so was pretty happy with that. Hopefully they'll match Target's $49 for MK7

Laineheart: Yes, but HN pretty much sold out their pre-orders. I got in my pre-order for UC3 but they couldn't accommodate me because they were sold out. I did manage to snag a copy though because they checked their stockroom and lo and behold, there was an extra copy.

Haha yeah that happens, we still have stock from people that never turned up. It's a by-product of the online system not requiring a deposit.
