Halo Combat Evolved – evolved in HD

Price round-ups are forum discussions that let the community track prices and trade-in offers for upcoming releases. It is an opportunity to share trade-in exploits, point out online sales, reveal broken street dates and helps reduce work for staff so that we can have more frequent round-ups.

Not to grief, but is anyone actually interested in this?
OK I can understand why people would buy it for the multiplayer... but come on, has anyone other then me played the Library level? Erk, this is not 2011 gameplay people.
(FYI im a Massive Halo fan...but this stinks of a money grab)

I only played 2 and 3, so I would probably pick this up in the future.  But not just yet!

I played this to death back in the days - no interest in going back to the well. Was only 10 years ago!

I'm definitely getting it.

The original Halo was the game that showed me what games were truly capable of.

I played Anniversary at the EB Expo, and the gameplay hasn't aged at all, possibly because it was the first of what can be considered the modern format of fps design.

Why people would get this other than the fact that it's still an amazing game:
- Far better graphics
- 720p
- Online co-op
- Original multiplayer maps remade for Reach
- 3D support (it looks great!)
- Kinect support (some people might like this)
- Bargain price considering the amount of stuff added / redone

As a comparison, Zelda 3DS has:
- Better graphics
- 3D support
- Expensive price

And God of War Collection and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection on PS3 have:
- 720p
- 3D support
- Expensive price, considering nothing has been improved

I can sort of see your point Alex89, but out of all the remakes so far, the Ico/SOC one has been the only one worth it IMO. just because to get them on ebay was $200.. nuff of this... who has some good prices?

$35 at BIG W! Just picked it up, includes cardboard packaging and bonus master chief avatar armour and exclusive "grunt funeral" skull (not sure if they all include this but I thought I'd mention it.)

price matched at JB Hifi, but just reconsidering as for some reason I thoght this was HALO 1 and 2.

I think I'm more interested in price matching Disney Kinect Adventures for the kids.

I just got the regular version from Big W with a code for a 2-day gold trial and a code for "Anniversary Map Pack for Halo: Reach".

Disappointed as I wanted the avatar. :-(

Big W is the cheapest still at the moment.
