Hi guys,

Just wondering if EB still has its 7-day return policy.

I just bought a retro PC title today, it was on sale, and went home to install and play it. However, turns out it will not run on my PC (might be a problem with my OS or another underlying issue). It doesn't require a CD-key and doesn't have online play - and the item is in perfect condition, like when it was purchased.

Will EB honour a 7-day satisfaction guarantee return policy with a refund (or at least store credit)?

I just feel cheated of $20 on a game I can't play. Thanks, any answers/updates on their policy would be appreciated.

EB does, not sure if it's only for EB World members now though, though membership is free. And if you purchased a game in December until now, you have until 15 January to return it.

HOWEVER, this may not apply to PC games! I believe EB has a strict policy regarding the return of PC games. I've tried finding information about returns (from purchases in-store) on the EB website but haven't been able to find anything.

Best to see if you can find someone you know in your local EB sympathetic and they may be able to bend the rules, or at the very least, give you store credit.
