Agree with @Meganubis.

Tried GAME at Broadway - they flat denied price matching Kmart even though it is in the same building.

That being said Kmart still haven't received stock, but that is a minor issue. :-P

Ok..so looks like best bet is to print out the Big W 68 deal and get EB to price match it.

My local JB (where I pre-ordered) in Ringwood VIC had definitely broken the street date too...I got a call from them yesterday about my order being available to pick-up, though I think the street date was broken Monday.

Agree with JohnnyCharisma. Depending on how strict the staff at your local EB is, they might actually try calling Kmart/Big W to check if there is still stock, but they will most likely pricematch.

Do JB Hi-Fi Price match?

I want the Robin edition, but don't really want to pay $89, with all the other games coming out this year. Has anyone been successful in matching the Robin edition with K-Marts $68 at JB?

If that fails, any good trade bait systems happening atm?

ok so good news for me, (Canberra), walked into the city EB store , batman arkham city marketing all over JB Hi Fi and EB games. Saw the marketing at EB with a future release date, but they had a "Out Now" sticker slapped on it. I printed out the singular page of the Big W catalogue, and the dude with a beard there price matched it straight away. good times!

GAME Hornsby price matched DSE for $77 for me. They did call up and check stock. Kmart had no stock yet.

That being said, I feel like it is a real hassle to price match now. I love GAME but I am concerned for the future.

Look at the exclusion list and 2 for 40 games...

And i for one am starting to get annoyed at JB and EB as of late, why advertise you will price match, if you dont bother 90% of the time.

I dont think JB advertise anywhere that they price match, they just do most of the time.

I think they would match the standard version for $68 if it was in stock and selling now (i think the big w/kmarts got their stock late). i understand if they wouldnt give you the robin version for $68 as that is exclusive.

the reason why EB/Game/JB get 'exclusives' is so they dont have to price match those stores who sell below cost price as it isn't exactly the same item of stock

Look at the exclusion list and 2 for 40 games...

A lot of their games on the 2 for 40 list are not on the exclusion list - Vanquish and Army of Two: 40th Day for one.

Also EBGames has a sale on with games under $25... few games there are also not on the exclusion list - De Blob 2 $18 for example.

K-Mart have apparently only been given a small quantity to sell at $69.
Airport West K-Mart advised that they only got 5 copies for each platform, with the next delivery being priced at $88 each.
