So the Steam Summer Sale finally ended and what a sale it was! Thousands of games on sale and daily deals that were each very tempting. We'd like to see what everybody's haul was this year. Lets try to find out how much we all 'saved' and if this year's sale was really the best we've seen from then thus far.

Drop by the forum and let us know what you hauled!

I'm amused @ my own fail for this sale.  The only title I wanted was Half-Life 2 (plus both eps).  I checked every day to see when it was up for the Daily Discount.  Found out I had somehow missed it a few days after it was up.  So I still checked every day just in case, and even on the final day when the daily discounts were supposed to bet repeated.. and STILL managed to miss it, despite searching specifically for it all I could come up with was the disappointing 33% off.

That's all I wanted.  Just one game (well, technically 3 games I guess), and I still managed to not get it.

Have my fingers crossed they will come up again on one of the weekly deals soon or something.  If not, I'll be waiting till the Christmas sale.  lol.

I so fail.  Fail Hard. Cheesy

I was rather disappointed with the sale.  Picked up probably 2 or 3 items over the entire sale.
I bought more from Zavvi this time around.  Maybe Xmas will yield better results.

I bought Magicka ($3.39 US) and Battlefield BC2 ($5.00 US).  Pretty happy with those two bargains Smiley

I have a spare copy of the original HL2. Send me a pm with your steam id and I'll gift it to you.

I replyed to your PM. As well, but also wanted to thank you publicly for your generous offer.

Steam Users are awesome.  Since I made that shelf depreciating comment I've had Gift offers for Half Life 2 and Episode 1.  People just .. give stuff away on Steam.  To people they only know cos of steam. How cool is that?

Seriously Cool. That's How cool that is. Thats how cool you are. Smiley
