I noticed some discussions in the bargain chat regarding users purchasing MS points from Fishpond (they have been very cheap of late). This thread is for people discuss things amongst each other as it looks a little too big to stay in the chat.
I think its a bit too soon to get worried or up in arms (less than 3 weeks). They're coming from overseas and clearly nobody's was sent via air mail. Regardless I'm sure people will want to discuss this wait on the MS Points and other products.
If anyone has heard anything from Fishpond or contacted them please post your responses for others to read.

I emailed them a few weeks ago, they allowed up till the 18th before they give refund or re ship it. a little annoyed since they stated it would arrive the latest 6/06

Ordered 21st May, allegedly shipped 26th May (a Sunday?) with estimated delivery 27th to 29th. June 8th I emailed them because it was ten business days after post and the site says that it should arrive before then. "Thank you for your enquiry and order at Fishpond.com.au We do apologise for the delay. Your order was sent in the post and may have been delayed slightly. Please note your order was not sent by tracked mail. If it hasn't arrived by 14/06/11 please email us and we will re-order or refund this item for you, and make a claim for the missing parcel. http://www.fishpond.com.au/helpdesk.php?question_id=220" Then I've emailed them again tonight, because it's still not here. I'll update when/if I get a response. I've never had problems with Fishpond before though.

Its come to my attention that several other eco-gamers are waiting on Microsoft points ordered a few weeks ago from fishpond.com.au.
Those who ordered will notice that they were charged last month before the site listed the points as 'in stock', any site that takes your money before shipping your goods should be looked at with suspicion. But the prices were good so I took a gamble, the expected arrival date came and went and as soon as the suggested '10 working days' period had gone by I sent a "please explain" letter to fishpond. Their response was 'wait a few more days and then email again if your points had not arrived' so I am chasing after them for a second time and still waiting for another response.
I decided to google up some store feedback for fishpond and the results were bad to terrible, with the main complaint being the extremely high failed delivery rate. The store feedback for fishpond on this site is particular bad also and I am beginning to think 'bargain' posts regarding fishpond should come with a disclaimer mentioning their poor feedback. If they continue to let down the eco-gamer community their store should be blacklisted.
Their are to many failed Microsoft point orders for the blame to be shifted onto postage theft its statistically impossible.
So my question is this, is it a legitimate business strategy of fishpond to lie about orders being shipped then hope that several of the people that placed the orders 'give up' on chasing up the "failed" delivery?
Please post here if you are waiting on a fishpond order Microsoft points or otherwise.

I'll update when/if I get a response. I've never had problems with Fishpond before though. Me neither, but on occation people get quite upset over them. Usually what follows is a bunch of people saying they've had no problems and the topic dies shortly later. I think Fishpond tend to get lazy and unorganised when it comes to selling items that were below cost or when they accidently but stupidly over sell stock. Conjecture though. Hence why I throw this sort of stuff at the community. I've only ordered about 5 items from them.

I'm guessing they used the cheaper but slower route for shipping as they probably tried cutting costs. My order should have arrived on the 6th, but need to wait 10 working days before contacting them.
They may be cheap at times but are unreliable more often than not. Way too much bad experiences with this company and this company only.

If the store has a good reputation, I tend to chill over delays. Fishpond however seem to be notorious for failed deliveries. My biggest issue is that the orders have not shipped and fishpond know this but are stalling for time, maybe the site owner took the "down payments" to a casino over the weekend and lost it all  . Either way fishponds standing with the eco-gamer community should hinge on the outcome of these delayed microsoft point orders. Also my impression was that the points shipped from an Australian distribution point, my last order from fishpond arrived in days. Microsoft points are region locked also so I'd imagine that they came from a local distributor.

I've bought alot of things from them over the last 1.5 years, and so far everything came and none went missing. This MS points business is the first time I've had an issue with them. My previous purchase just before this one was for a $50 artbook and it came pretty quickly and was well protected, very happy with that purchase.
But yeah, its weird how so many people are not getting the MS points (myself included), there mustve been some serious delays when they shipped their stock from NZ to AUS.

Yep, they told me if my points hadn't arrived by today, to email them. I have. I am quite disgusted with these business practices.
The only time I ever ordered from them before was for a $300 250GB xbox elite. They took my money, and then said it would be an 8 week delay, and they cancelled. I think they put out some good prices, to get customers, then fail to deliver.
F*** OFF FISHPOND! NOT GOOD ENOUGH YOU ARE SUPER DODGY AND I AM SUPER ANNOYED!

Similar thing happened when I ordered Turtle Beach X11 on special. After a month, I cancelled the order.

I also ordered 2 x 3000 points cards which were allegedly posted to me on 26 May.
I sent them an email tonight. Will update this thread with any news.
I have ordered points from them in the past without a problem. Maybe this is just one big stuff up?
Might just get a refund and avoid them from now on though.

Yep, I ordered MS Points, the say they were shipped on on 26 May, still haven't received them.
I don't really understand how all the MS Points could get lost in the mail.

i also ordered live pts from fishpond but never received... ordered on 21/05/2011, email notified dispatched on 27/05/2011, still nothing arrived......

Fishpond screwed me too! I ordered 3000 MS points almost a month ago and still nothing. Be very weary of them, I will no longer trust them for anything anymore. It seems we're all experiencing this issue, if no replies come, we should all do something about it together.

I ordered mine on the 2nd, shipped on the 7th and arrived today. Annoyed a little becuase I still had to buy more points to not miss out on the LA Noire DLC pass but seems to be lucky that I got mine at all.
