Ordered 21st May, allegedly shipped 26th May (a Sunday?) with estimated delivery 27th to 29th. June 8th I emailed them because it was ten business days after post and the site says that it should arrive before then. "Thank you for your enquiry and order at Fishpond.com.au We do apologise for the delay. Your order was sent in the post and may have been delayed slightly. Please note your order was not sent by tracked mail. If it hasn't arrived by 14/06/11 please email us and we will re-order or refund this item for you, and make a claim for the missing parcel. http://www.fishpond.com.au/helpdesk.php?question_id=220" Then I've emailed them again tonight, because it's still not here. I'll update when/if I get a response. I've never had problems with Fishpond before though. Wow, I'm in the same boat. This is really, really weird... Emailing them now to let them know that my card has still not arrived by the date they specifified...

Long time reader first time poster
I too ordered 2x 3000 MS Point cards on the 22nd of May, got the dispatched e-mail on the 26th and yet to receive them. I also e-mailed them yesterday and got the same e-mail as doopits - only my date to contact them again is the 20th. I thought i was actually getting somewhere with the e-mail reply, but to find out that it's just an e-mail template = big thumbs down from me.
I find it strange that their service is hit and miss, have read many threads on various forums both praising and bagging the hell out of the service.... i guess it depends on what you order from them (cd, dvd, books, game software/accessories etc). I have read on a few forums that some got their order within a week, others got them 3 weeks after the expected period.
I won't be ordering from them again, while i'd love to get the points eventually... i have more hope that i will get a refund in my paypal account (would come in handy for the next purchase i want to make).

I asked them for a refund, and this was their response:
"We have been advised that the shipment containing your order has been delayed by Australia Post. We are working with our freight forwarders, and expect it to clear in the next 3-5 working days.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this delay."
So what is this? I won't get a refund? Who are these so-called freight forwarders? Still not happy, I want a refund.

Thanks for keeping us updated Kablammo - I still haven't gotten a reply yet, I'm guessing because I haven't asked for a refund.

I just received this response from Fishpond concerning my query about the non delivered points cards apparently shipped on 26 May:
"Hi Robert, Thank you for your enquiry and order at Fishpond.com.au We have been advised that the shipment containing your order has been delayed by Australia Post. We are working with our freight forwarders, and expect it to clear in the next 3-5 working days. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this delay. While I haven't purchased the MS points, my Fishpond experience in the past 6 months (since I have purchased from them) has been hit-and-miss, though mostly poor. The only reason why I keep shopping there is because their books are generally cheaper than Amazon and I don't mind if my books don't really arrive on time. Games I WANT as soon as possible though.
I've purchased six times from Amazon and I can only recall on ONE occasion when an item actually arrived WITHIN the specified timeframe they had quoted me; this was for a book that arrived recently. On all the other orders (books and games), when the items arrived, they came after the specified timeframe, with one turning up a good ten days (and two follow-up emails) after I was supposed to have received it.
One item never showed up at all, and it was a $90+ book. After two follow-up emails though (and a third just to confirm that I still hadn't received it), I got a full refund for the item.
It is unlikely I will purchase a game off Fishpond again, regardless of how attractively priced it is. I've purchased two games so far and both have been delayed. I am extremely unhappy about my recent game purchase in LA Noire though.
Apart from the fact that it was received a whole 2.5 weeks AFTER its Australian release (surely shipping can't be THAT slow!), the game they sent me look as if it had been used. No scratches on the disc or anything like that, however, it was open without the factory seal, and there was no DLC, which was advertised when one ordered from Fishpond (and it still is).
Curiously, even though it was a Region 4 Australian game on the disc and the slick, there was a ratings sticker on the cover that says "Restricted 16 - Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993". This sticker obscured the MA15+ rating printed on the LA Noire slick and puzzled me.
So I emailed them and although they usually get back to me quickly within 48 hours, this time around, they hadn't responded after a week and I had to send a second email. They responded to my first email within hours of sending them the second email and they asked me to post the game back for a full refund. ? My best guess was that someone had opened up the game, used it and stole the DLC, and I put that in the body of my email to Fishpond.
Will still probably shop with them for books I don't mind waiting for, but I'm steering clear when buying games from Fishpond.

kind of off topic... but ianinozzie... u do realise that we share the same region for games as the UK, NZ and other countries right (that being PAL)?? The "Restricted 16" sticker sounds like the NZ one and i'm fairly sure fishpond is a NZ based company... so that makes perfect sense... region 4 (and the other numbered "regions") mean absolutely nothing when it comes to games! its just PAL and NTSC (mind u there is NTSC/U and NTSC/J, but thats another discussion).

KRiSX: Not quite the same region (UK is region 2 while OZ and NZ are Region 4) but yes, I know what you meant by the games all being PAL. And I didn't know that Fishpond is a NZ based company which would explain the ratings sticker and why it's not familiar to me.
Not the point I was trying to make though; the point I was trying to get across was that it was not factory sealed and there was no DLC included. I had ordered LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition off Fishpond before, my very first purchase back in January, and it was factory sealed.

Hey all. I just got the same "...has been delayed by Australia Post with some other orders. We are working with our freight forwarders, and expect it to clear in the next 3-5 working days..." email as everyone else. I hope it's true. I want to buy the Vietnam expansion for BFBC 2!

I'm not buying fishponds "delayed" excuse, fishpond need to be honest about this issue. They lied about shipping the goods because there was no stock to ship.
Fishponds "3-5 days" estimate means we will all be palmed off for another weekend, and I'm 99% sure there will be some other bull**** excuse at the start of next week.
Tempted to email fishpond and point them at this thread so they can see exactly how unprofessional their behavior is making them look.

I ordered a XBL points card and Lego Star Wars 3 on the same day. I paid the $0.99 extra for "extra fast shipping" on Star Wars, and it arrived within maybe two weeks. Hardly extra fast, but still better than the yet-to-arrive point card.
They can be pretty slow, but sometimes their prices are crazy. XBL cards is a good example, Lego Star Wars 3 was sub-$30, and I managed to get a 3DS from them in that $156 bungle. Sure, it took literally a month to arrive, but I got it. So for the most part, go Fishpond when they have deals that are too good to make sense, just don't expect them for weeks.
