FYI everyone.. If you "buy" the 2 free games and dont select them right away you get locked out!!
You then have to go into select ‘Account Management’ -> ‘Transaction Management’ -> ‘Services List’ -> ‘SCEA Promotion’ in the XMB... I fell for this, and couldnt figure it out

Anyway I got Informus and Dead Nation.

iaminozzie you keep your trophies.. you ernt them Wink

Does anyone know if you can get two of these games now but not download them until after the 30 days expire? I have bogus internet at the moment and so I can't really download a massive game.
I have the feeling that if you "buy" the games now, you will be able to download them next month. Same way I can delete and redownload content I have bougth free of charge.

You will have to log into the PS Store from your PSP; just like how y ou would download games straight from the store on the US PSN.

You DO NOT need a separate account for your PSP. I have the one account with PSN and I downloaded my 2 free games on the PSP and 2 free games on the PS3 (well, really only one, and but I've started downloading the other but lost connection. Will download that second free game some other time).

I believe you do need to first enable or "purchase" the Playstation Plus first (which is free) and once you have "purchased" or activated it, you should be able to click on the "Welcome Back Program" icon and then download the free games on your PSP.

Aquil0: I am hoping that this is the case, since I have already selected my second free PS3 game (Infamous). It's a big file at 7Gb and I have limited download monthly limit on my 3G mobile, so I will have to wait until my next billing cycle starts before I try downloading it again!\

I, too, couldn't figure out how to download my second free game, hence my second post in this thread (and the whole creation of the thread in the first place!). Wink

Thanks also for the advice about the trophies for Playstation+ games...w00t. Anyone wants to co-op with me in Streets of Rage 2 and beat the game? Smiley

Just updated the first post with this information:

There is also detailed information about how to download the free games (with some screenshots) from this website:

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/06/03/welcome-back-content-is-available-now-frequently-asked-questions-answered/

Also an FAQ which answers some common questions including how to choose the free Welcome Back games, and other questions related to Playstation Plus.

You can download the PSP games using Media Go on PC if you haven't got WiFi, and transfer them with a USB cable. I guess you could also download the PSP games using Media Go on the PC if you haven't got a PSP. And apparently all PSP PSN games will work on the PSVita, so why not?

Ok, in the Media Go window, click Store at the top of the left column. If it asks for your location and date of birth, don't bother, just click Sign In at the top right of the screen. Sign in using your account details, then, at the top right again, click on the button 4th from the left, with the little square face. It should state Account Management when your cursor is over it. I notice that the Account Management is down right now, but try it again in a day or two, hopefully it will come back up. That's how I downloaded my free games.

Unless something has changed (and to be honest, I haven't monitored the forums for the past 3 days now), Sony recently acknowledged there was a problem downloading the free PSP games via Media Go.

Sony said they were investigating; can you confirm that you did indeed download your Welcome Back free PSP games via Media Go, bern1992? And have you been able to upload them to your PSP?

Yes I downloaded my games through Media Go, yes they've downloaded successfully, and yes, I have uploaded them and played them on my PSP. I purchased and started the downloads on 3/6/2011.
