Another music title this week, one the community was interested in enough to move ahead on their own round-up! Thanks guys. Rock Band 3 is due out on Thursday, October 28th.

I saw the 360 version for about $39 in JBs in Perth. Especially annoying since I'd already paid almost twice that at Zavvi for it, excellent game though.

I paid $99.95 at EB Games 3 days before US launch date, and I regret nothing!

Worst price - probably $138 for a Madcatz wireless keyboard for Rock Band 3 PS3 from EB Games' Mad Monday sale. I love this keyboard and it's so much fun using it for Rock Band 3, but $138 is ridiculously expensive...especially when I really should have purchased it from Amazon with a strong Aussie dollar! But I wanted the keyboard quickly for Christmas!

I had the same thought - that Amazon would take too long, but I went with Amazon anyway - thought I'd enjoy the game on drums, etc first, then again a month later on keys.

However, Amazon would only let you choose the most expensive postage and it was super super speedy.  They posted it on about Tuesday and I had it by the about 10am Friday.  Awesome.  My friend who had a pre-order in-store at EB waited much longer - a few weeks - and eventually cancelled that, ordered from Amazon and had it within a few days.  Highly impressed.

Sounds like you had a great experience with Amazon for the keyboard, despite the more expensive shipping price (but beneficial since you got it so quickly)! I just wasn't sure about the wait time...ah well. Apart from the price, certainly not regretting getting either the game or they keyboard.

Thanks for the link about the DLC! I might not get any this time around...have spent quite a bit on DLC in the past month already.

I was thoroughly impressed by Amazon's service.  I just lump the expensive shipping rate ($25) into the price I paid ($80) and call it $105, and still feel like I did well.
