i got GAME's $75 elegibility list and took it to Big W as they are having a sale but the prices are only in the system and not on the stickers or advertisment. after scanning all the games on the list i found that the cheapest is Dragon Ball Z: Raiging Blast for ps3, which is scanning at $45 at the moment.

so get that and take it to Game and get them to price match Harvey norman for Halo Reach ($79). and you'll just add $4 for halo reach. you now obtained Halo reach for $49 and can trade it to EB for $110 earning $61 each time you do this. (this offer ends today, for the comming week reachis worth $95.50 at EB with edge)

2nd thing you can do. is trade dragon ball for fifa11 pre-order at GAME. doing so you'll put $75 towards Fifa11 and also get a copy of Fifa Worldcup 2010 for free. this is a trade bait and to me trade baits are worth between $20 to $25. It'd cost that much if i was to get one to trade. (those $10 -$15 baits are not always avaliable when there is a game deal recession on) I'm sure biw W or K Mart will have fifa 11 for like $84 or so on realease so you can price match in GAME when you pick up your preorder. therefore adding $9 for Fifa 11 (75+9 = 84). so if you quantify everything you got yourself fifa 11 for $45 (dragon ball) +9 (add in GAME) -$25 (got trade bait) = $29 for Fifa 11 WIN!!! note that buying games from GAME nets you member points which is bascally 5% off your pruchase price ($500 spend gets your $27.50 voucher = 5% rebate) so each of those examples above would have regiestered a $80 spend at games thats another $4 off.

I will update this thread when there are new tricks so keep checking back. the moto of my life is "Free Gamez 4 Life"

Hmm seem like some people are being rejected at JB to trade towards pre-orders. since the game is not released it's not in the system and jb can't do the trade... can someone confirm that JB are able or not able to do these pre-order trades?

For those looking for trade bait for the 3 for 1 deal at JB. I went to Game and they price matched Guitar Hero: World Tour (currently new for $8 at EBgames) and Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits ($23 new at EBgames). Then cross your fingers and hope your EBgames has Beatles Rockband ($15 pre-owned) or Dick Smith has Beatles Rockband or Vancouver 2010 ($20).

I spent $92 to pre-order Little Big Planet 2 and GT5. I went to the shops at Broadway, Burwood and Liverpool this get this done  Cheesy

Best of luck searching!

P.S - This is for PS3.

Thanks for this. Spent $50 and managed to pre-order LBP2, CoD:Black Ops and Fallout: New Vegas from JB.

Saved myself about $250!

I am surprised that old Gu!tar Her0 and R0ck B@nd games aren't on the JB exclusion list for 3 4 1s.  And I thought that my $58 tradeins for Black Ops was l33t
