Nothing

Umm.... isn't that kind of a non-event post?

I mean it's not quite as funny as the whole "Nothing Important Happened Today" comment.

anyways, I digress

Portal from steam for free (gonna wait 'til I have more D/L limit before I download it.. for the record I've already played it through on the 360 via a mate's copy and I've got my own copy of the Orange Box on PS3... I had heard someone saying that Portal has been updated with an altered ending to allow room for the sequel... so I'm curious to see how that plays out.
the Humble Indie Bundle

and I picked up the Super Street Fighter IV guidebook from bookdepository.com (or was it .co.uk?) so that was
kinda nice.  Got the Darkstalkers Tribute Book from Book Depository.co.uk for around $34 delivered (hooray for discount codes!).

No PS3? No X-box 360?  (sorry I'm not asking to be rude I'm just curious)

I take it you're more of a portable gamer then? or big into the wii (and if so how awesome is Tatsunoko vs Capcom?)

Both a PS3 and 360 actually :p
But I don't actually have access to my 360 right now, and I had heard that the orange box on the PS3 was ported pretty badly, is that wrong?

I think quite a few of us got Portal for free didn't we?

to which I have to ask - why?

Surely you would have all picked up one of the better games of the past few years ages ago? ? I'm guessing it's free to showcase their 'also on Mac' store and also whet people's appetites for Portal 2.

Anyways, back on topic - nothing much these past couple of weeks.. though I pre-ordered / traded for Red Dead Redemption Limited Edition at Game (2 copies for about $50 each worth of traded games) and think I'll be returning one to pick up Alan Wake Collector's Edition.  I might 'downgrade' to the normal Red Dead and then just work my way through the Golden Guns, horses etc. and save myself $40.

I'm still weighing up getting the Humble Indie Compilation off Steam, as I've been wanting Machinarium and And Yet It Moves for a long while (I've already got World of Goo and Osmos) - but I've been catching up this month with downloading other Steam purchases and so far I'm already at 100GB quota (on an Exetel 'unlimited' account.. but there's already been people asked to churn to another ISP as they've used too much unlimited bandwidth.. short story - Exetel falsely advertised a product and cannot service it so are bullying heavy downloaders to leave / kicking them out).
