By reading these rules, you are agreeing that you will abide these rules to make this Trading Post a great place for buying, selling and trading:

1.   Ecogamer will not be held liable for any losses incurred in the Trading Post.
2.   You are responsible for your own transactions which you participate in. The point of this forum is to provide a place for people to communicate and interact with each other.
3.   Titles from any region (PAL, NTSC-J, Region Free etc.) can be sold at the Trading Post. It is recommended that you indicate what region the game/console you are selling is from.
4.   Links to explicit or illegal sites are strictly forbidden and posters will be dealt will accordingly.
5.   Sellers are not allowed to use the trading post to commercially resell items and within reason, pre ordering products through the trading post is prohibited. Products that are ready to be shipped (In the seller?s possession) are only allowed.
6.   Posts which attack users, complain about prices or are off-topic will be deleted.
7.   Other items may be sold on the Trading Post, such as DVDs and CDs, as long as they are within reason.
8.   Threads may not be bumped unless it is for a change of price or a notification of a pending item.
9.   Promotional copies may be sold at the Trading Post as long as it is properly named and can play on an unmodified console.

would there be some way that the trading post could be used for people who are regular readers/contributors to the site rather than just anyone?
I don't mean to sound harsh or possessive or anything, I just thing it's a bit odd that so many prospective sellers haven't posted anywhere else in the forums at all.  I realise that comments on the news articles, or info posted to the chatbox don't count towards a members posts.. but is there something that can be done to avoid people using the trading post as a place to post items with a ridiculous asking price (just because this site doesn't charge a listing fee)

Thanks for the suggestion mate. I'm no too sure whether it'll work though as people will just spam to get the amount of posts needed. Not sure what others think of this (So I won't do anything until instructed) but I can lock/remove threads if the prices are absolutely off the planet as I do not want to see people getting ripped off on this forum either:)

Please be reminded that its against the rules to sell items commercially at the trading post. Any post that is deemed to violate this term will be summarily deleted, with no comment from the mods. If you think you have a case for posting such items, please contact the mods to state your case.

What about my HDTV? Is it ok?  Undecided

I've got quite a few WoW time cards that I'm looking to sell.

Would they be alright to sell on the Trading Post here?  they're all sealed (bar one which was the shelf pack at an EB shop but the timecard hasn't been scratched off).

Sorry for the slow reply Arjay, but go for it, as long as you are selling them below RRP and at a reasonable price Smiley
