Just wondering if anyone is saving up for anything big at the moment?
For myself, I've planned my wages for this week (Bioshock CE, and Preacher Volume 1 Comic), as for saving, after Anthony reminded me about my room, I realised I need a couch, so I'll start saving for that soon! How about you? Are you saving for anything in particular? Grin Please share!

I'm saving for a heck of a lot.
Firstly an Xbox 360 for Halo and other games.
A new motherboard and dual core CPU for my PC to ensure my awesome GPU isn't being bottlenecked like currently.
Mag wheels for the car.
Better inside speakers for the car.
In the long term I'm saving the majority of my fortnightly wage to go towards something big.
A new car maybe? Deposit on a house?
Who knows.

A mortgage has meant that I can't buy too many games this year, but the relative Wii drought has mean that I have enough put away for Super Paper Mario, Metroid 3 Corruption and Mario Galaxy this year.

I'm planning on buying an Xbox 360 or PS3 next year. Most likely the former because of the price and sheer abundance of games, but we'll what's available at the time.

Ive got the money for an Xbox 360 but dont want one unless I know for sure I can get one with the new heatsink. So basically Im haning out for a HDMI Xbox, although Im not sure if Halo 3 will force me to get one earlier.

Nice idea for a thread.

Short term, Rockstar's Table Tennis for the Wii. Fun times ahead. Cheesy

Mid Term, a car. Again, fun times ahead.

And in the long term, a 360.

It probably sounds like I've got my priorities around the wrong way in terms of monetary value, but at the moment, I'm happy with my Wii, and I'd like to be able to transport myself places. But also, eventually, I want some of the 360 pie. By the time I buy one, it'll have a bigger  library of games, and the good ones releasing now will be cheaper, and also the console will be (hopefully) cheaper as well. Hurruh for cheaper gaming!

I'll probably start saving up for a PS3 come this Christmas or early next year. I expect a price cut before then and if nothing special comes it's way I guess it'll be my Blu Ray player as well.

Yeah, I want a PS3, just for MGS4 Cheesy Really can't justify a grand for MGS4 though... well I could, but I don't want to lol!

Bioshock. Well actually I'm not really  "saving" for it, rather "paying" for it.

I'm wondering whether to buy BioShock.
I think I'll wait until I'm through at least the newest of my backlog og games, ie RE0 and Tomb raider Legend before I grab it.
The demo was interesting though.

I owe my parents $1200; my car needs fixing; and lastly, I plan to move to Canberra either this year or next so I need money for that. Added in between are book, music and video game purchases, and also living expenses.

Im now saving for an Xbox 360. Technically I have the money but I always like to have a couple grand by my name and I dont like dipping into it except for urgent things.
