I cant make a decision,

Standard edition  Or Hardened Edition?Huh?

The difference is cost and Hardened has: XBLA code for original Call of Duty, hardened case and an art book...

So depending on the difference in cost, is it worth those extra things... I've a feeling that the original Call of Duty will be around 1200 MS points when it's released, might be 800...

I heard that jb will be selling the std edition for 79 and harden for 99. I've got the original cod plus its expansion on pc. SO technically for me 20 bucks for metal casing and art book isnt worth it for me. thanks heaps for the help

Do you have the catalogue for the hardened edition at JB so i can price match at EB?

Just a heads up guys, called up my local Game store and you cant price match the harden edition of mw2 with them, only the standard edition. Plus if your heading to their midnight launch they wont be price matching then, so only tuesday morning. Apparently they are doing  raffle for the prestige edition as well. DUnno how thats going to work.

Modern Warfare 2 Std Edition - Dicksmith -77$ on their site,
Modern warfare 2 harden edition Dicksmith 99$ on their site.

not allowed to price match online prices just instore

I don't see why GAME wouldn't pricematch hardened edition, looks more like a store specific policy - so try calling up other GAME stores if you want to do so. (but i think most GAME stores have sold out the hardened? )

Is it just me or are these hardened and prestige edition getting less and less 'limited' as the days draw nearer to the release?  they don't seem limited edition to me anymore. can easily come up with a list of aussie sites that still have prestige & hardened, which was impossible like 3 weeks ago?

I actually preordered the harden edition, but the difference if i cant pricematch is 50$ as they are selling it for 120$ and std edition for 77 if i price match dicksmith. And i already called them to change mine to std edition.
