Big W Sale

So I went to the Garden City (Brisbane) Big W at about 4pm today. Nothing had been marked down yet, so I just randomly grabbed titled that I thought might be.

Scored Splinter Cell Double Agent and Endwar for the PS3 for $5 and $10 respectively.

As I waited at the counter for the salesdude to find the games and manuals, I saw on the counter... "THE LIST". All the game markdowns - the printout was massive but it was a disorganised mess. Every platform (including PC) jumbled together, so I just skimmed looking for worthwhile PS3 titles.

Others I saw were:

Will be picking up a fair few games to get Forza 3 to then trade into EB for store credit ($74 or thereabouts with 15% voucher). Are you allowed to trade in the same games twice at JB (eg: trade in CoD4, BiA and MoH to get one copy of Forza, then trade in the same 3 titles again?)? Or is it better to go to a different store to do it??

In my experience it is ok to use the same titles twice.

They generally could care less, as it's separate transactions...

Many copies of this mate? So are they labelled? Or do you just have to go up to the counter to scan them? How long does sale last for?

went to big w macquarie this afternoon... found quite a few cheap clearance games
here's what i bought...

$10: turok, rainbow six vegas 2
$5: cabela alaskan adventure, csi hard evidence
$2: king kong, splinter cell double agent (on excl. list, but can't go wrong at $2)

there were a heap of other games for $10 - $15 but most were on exclusion list too so didn't bother
all of the games still have original mark down stickers of $30-$50 on them, so go nuts with the free scanners

i might have to have a double check again tomorrow, as some titles mentioned above were still full price
plus i will be going on a good ol hunt tomorrow night after work...ah good times just like the dick smith clearance

best part about it...went straight to JB from big w and got brutal legend for $20!!!!

p.s... don't bother going to macquarie, i've cleared them out

I didnt realise world poker wasnt on the excl list (i rembered there was a poker somewhere there).. and i didn't see turok (was looking for it!).
