Great work Klevster...
but those are horrible prices... If I do obtain the above games from the 3-1 deal, and JB somehow refuses to give me store credit for returned games, I guess ebay is the best option (rather than trading them in for cash/credit at above stores)?

Just posted this in the shoutbox but I went to trade in Fallout 3 (X360) at GAME and they scanned it as $40 but when I showed them the catalogue (which said that the trade in value was $52), they fixed it up for me.

If you're interested, this is what I traded in:
Fallout 3 - $52
Army Of Two - $20
Sturmovik Birds Of Prey - $40
Pokemon Diamond (DS) - $30
Mario Kart (DS) - $34

+ $30 extra credit when trading in 5 games

= $206 store credit

I tried to trade Fallout 3 to Game on the weekend, with the $52 value advertised.

It scanned at $40, so I brought up ecogamer on a computer there and showed when the deal started, and that it should be $52. The guy then went on some stupid comment along the lines of law changes in WA and SA, and they can't do trade values for value on your card. They can only discount a game for that value there and then in the store.

So turned around, went to EB, got $48 for it. Traded in Battlestations Pacific for about $30. And got Fallout3 GOTY for just over $20.

I dont understand the part about 'trade values for values on your card'

I showed them their own catalogue. They have heaps of those trade in prices catalogue right outside their store.

I registered just to tell you guys this, I was dumbfounded. Borderlands has just come out, a very popular game. You'd think that the trade-in value would be good, right?

$35 at EB. On the day it came out.

And then I was grilled about why I would want to trade it in by the EB guy. I had to lie and say it was rubbish, couldn't tell him that I wanted to get it at JB in the 3 for 1 so that I could trade it to them for what I hoped would be good value. he offered me $40 to buy it off me for himself. I was like 'yeah...sure' and then didn't come back. I didn't even actually have the game, still don't!!!

Brutal Legend is also $30.

Smackdown vs Raw 2010 is about $40 I think.

These are for both systems.

This was on Thursday. Unless it's gone down, they probably were under-offering me. Wouldn't be surprised. Either that or it's a local/ this store thing. I'd be tempted to do that for $48. Sub-par, short overrated game. Immensely diappointed. But that's for a different place.

GAME Trade in values (catalogue till Nov 8 )

Animal Crossing Wii $30 at selected JB stores -> $45
Velvet Assassin $24 or $25 at aussiegamer.com -> $45

Big W (old catalogue, don't know if these prices are still valid):
Wolfenstein 360 $45 -> $48
Prototype 360 $45 -> $45
Call of juarez 2 360 $45 -> $40

Wolfenstein ps3 $45 -> $50
call of juarez 2 ps3 $45 -> $50

Trade 3 games $10 extra trade in credit; 4 games $20 extra; 5 games $30 extra
So doen't matter if some of big w prices lower than trade in value, eg Wolf + Proto + Juarez ($135) -> $143 game credit
