Economical Gamer has a unique subject matter that could provide some really original feature articles. Not only that but articles are more eligable for posting at digg and improving the visits the site is getting. A new section to the site would need to be added.

Some ideas so far:

- Bargain Hunting Tips
- Buyers Guide (twice a year for the two major sales periods)
- Best Free Games of [insert year]
- Gaming on a Budget PC (what games to play and what parts to possible upgrade)

Let me know some of your own and if you would like to write some feature articles for the site. Also let me know what you think of my ideas so far.

perhaps each monthly spotlight on a particular item (game, console, or peripheral) giving a quick summary on what it is, how much it retails for, and the best price it is available for.

Could be particularly useful for upcoming games like Halo 3, Super Paper Mario, etc when most people are looking to buy those games

How about cheap places to get computer parts?

Also, I am in the middle of writing an article on "A Gaming PC for less than $999" which may interest some viewers, I'll pop it through to you Anthony when I'm done

Got any games and buying tips for the person who writes up the feature?

Those reduced series are always good, I use them to get System Shock 2 while I was playing on a **** PC.

Oh, does anybody want to write a 'Safe Buying' article for eBay? Warning about pirated games, refunds and so on?

Heh, to sum it up, don't buy GBA games.
And make sure there's good rep for the seller and the photo looks legit I guess.
