got a friend that works at kmart... problem with them not having new games on the shelves straight away lately is because a lot of them are doing stocktake so they leave the new stock out back and bring it out when they're done... it's so the numbers don't get screwed up

and picked up Modern Warfare 2 for PS3 via JB's 3-for-1 deal

in no way is anything we are doing illegal or against store policy... have you ever thought people don't like paying the $120 RRP for all new game releases? not everyone can afford that, especially with so many good new games coming out frequently

and obviously you haven't tried very hard to contribute seeing as this is your first post, this community is very useful to the common student or youngster who doesn't work full time and wants save a bit of money on their next game purchase instead of forking out a big chunk of their change.

nobody is getting free money, i don't think you see anybody here talking about how they've made X amount of cash, all we do is trade around which is a perfectly legitimate system...since we go to the effort of travelling from store to store and knowing what's going on with sales and store promos/offers, maybe we are entitled to it

oh yeah one more thing, instead of getting up on us about getting a good deal on games based on various trades, why don't you get up on the stores that give us diddly squat for our games then mark them up a good 500%? oh wait that's right, you work for one of them...hmmm biased much?

Robism, whoever you're talking to is incorrect. This is a company wide promotion going until the 16th of november. Tell him to ask his manager or look on the promotions listing on his register and he'll be able to confirm this. If you're still not having luck, tell me which store you're asking and I'll call them up and find out what's going on

thanks omikronflux, i tried EB rhodes and macquarie, both said $58.... i plan on trading it back tomorrow so i can get a copy on ps3 (i have 3 360 trade baits with JBs name on them) but i don't wanna rock up and get a ****py trade value

argh this $95 MW2 trade debacle is so confusing... just got back from my local EB and they said $58 as well and told me with promotions like this they are usually already in the system

i need some stone cold evidence that this is correct, anyone got a proper scan of the full ad which i can print out
