I have spent a LOT of time setting up this site and doing my absolute best to integrate the membership anywhere it can be. Just so I feel better for spending so long setting things up Ill list what happens when you are a member:

- One membership for the site, classified ads and forum
- You can view the profiles of other users
- Polls on the site come from the forum: you need to be a member to vote
- When submitting content or an email via the forms on the site your name and email are automatically sent. You also do not need to enter a security code (to prove you arnt a bot)
- You can subscribe to the newsletter

So let me know, if its good and I can add links to it easily itll probably make it in.

The best way to use this forum is like a normal, decent human being. The forum will be governed with common sense and as such, moderators will moderate the forum with the goal of making this forum pleasant and entertaining to visit.

Rule 1: Be Pleasant
Rule 2: No affiliate/referal links to online shops
Rule 3: Mark all spoilers with warnings

Be pleasant and don't take everything people write as an affront to your opinion or personality. Short, on the side comments should not be chastised just because the author spends less time writing their posts. If you are ever in a heated discussion never make it personal and do not waste time arguing with a moderator on a decision they have made.

We do not appreciate huge walls of text. It is not strictly against the rules, but long posts containing multiple quotes from previous posters are not nice to read. Remember our major rule of being pleasant and realise those kinds of posts are extremely irritating to read.

Do not use these forums to break the law.

Do not link to ROM sites, warez sites, modchip sites or sites even associated with illegal software piracy - we don't want that kind of image in members, search engine archives or anywhere else a reputation can be built. Do not discuss where such items may be purchased or how to operate them.

  • No spamming
  • No bots
  • No trolling

If your posting and/or presence at this forum is deemed detrimental to the forum by a moderator and you do not think you have broken any 'rules', please be advised that moderators will do whatever is needed to keep these forums pleasant and functional. That typically includes implementing bans and other penalties to users. If you wish you may send one complaint, and only one if you think an instituted penalty is unjust. Continued correspondences (aka bitching) will only resulted in further penalties.

You do not necessarily need to be warned before a moderator takes actions against you if you are breaking the rules or ruining the forum. We try our best to make sure members are treated well and are informed, but in some cases actions must be taken immediately. This paragraph has been added to the rules so when this happens, the offender cannot point to the rules and complain.

Penalties for breaking forum rules or failing to adhere to moderators' instructions may include anything from forum suspensions (or bans), to reduced post counts, reduced privileges and other techniques to chastise the offender. For serious offences in which the law must be involved, the appropriate authorities will be contacted and notified of the situation.
