I found a few games with stickers on them, also one with an esrb rating instead of the oflc stuf at the ame eb store that rejected my trade in

Mine was UK, had that whole pegi **** on it, the lady was talking about OFLC rating, how they can aren't produced here and have not got an Australian rating

Amazingly other ebs actually scan the game fine, just that eb they cannot scan it, it's not in their db

Just went to the eb games in melb central, the chick rejected my trade in of an overseas game and told me that the head office is recalling all copies of overseas games because they weren't produced here, anybody know anymore details?

Trading ban lifted imo

OK 2nd question, usually how enforced is this area? I mean does the ratings police rock up to EB games every month and bust some dealers/offenders or something?

The chick I talked to at eb games were saying how the ratings department comes down on them or some **** like that. Was wondering if there's some big issue going on.

$60 bucks if you can get into GAME, trade in a copy of Spiderman web of shadows (at eb games $30 new) and preorder it for 29.95, I'm not gonna mention overseas copies because you only have 3 days left to preorder and heated discussions on the dangers of trading in overseas games.

Got a question when you say "No store be in JB Hi-Fi, GAME or EB Games is supposed to accept any form of imported game" is that enforceable by Law or is it just a general guideline?

done as per ewan's advice, any ideas why our screen names here look different from the one on the mainpage of forum activity? just a little inconsistent imo...

Well I hope they have stock, the only reason I preordered was that it was at least 7 bucks cheaper than preordering off eb (yes I could have gotten it for 80 bucks) and was also hoping with that release date to get it early.

To anyone who ordered Cdwow's inFamous 72.95 deal...

Here's the reply I got from them
---
Thanks for your e-mail and sorry for the delay in dispatching your order.

The reason that "PS3 - INFAMOUS" has been delayed is down to the fact that we are awaiting further information and are at the peril of our suppliers. We are only able to go by the information they have given us and as soon as we receive this we pass it on to all customers involved.

We are still awaiting confirmation of when the goods will be available for dispatch. We are also trying to source this item from a different supplier. We certainly do not want to be holding your order for so long however it really is the only option we have.

If you feel that you have been waiting too long for the order, please do let us know and we will arrange for the order to be cancelled and a full refund issued back to your card.
---

It sounds like they have the intent on delivering the product to me, the question is how long, I'll keep waiting, I'm content with playing with GTA/Killzone 2 for the time being and prototype when it comes out I suppose.
I just hope they stop the dicking before inFamous price drops to like 60 bucks, then I'll get pissed.

Use the conversion calculator on the main page, gbp is roughly *2 so you're looking at 3.2 bucks

Great post, you're a legend mate.

They are still advertising the Batman Arkham Asylum deal on their mainpage, I just called a store and kinda asked about it and the guy says it should still be up (the usual if its still being advertised then it should be available talk).
So the trade-in 1 eligible title + $39.95 might still be available, but I can't say for sure until someone gets them to key it in their computer.

You can see the eligble titles here:

http://www.game.com.au/tradeoneoffer

It also says $39.95 for Star Ocean 4 CE on that page instead of $49.95 on the other page Huh

The $39.95 one is not CE.
