Nintendo will be dropping the RRP of the Nintendo 3DS from $349.95 to $249.95 from August 12th.
However, as a way of compensating for those who've bought their 3DS earlier, they will be granted 20 free exclusive downloadable NES and GBA games that will not be made available to those who have purchased their 3DS after the price drop.

Nintendo sent us a note to let us know the RRP for their DSi + DSi XL portables will drop as of June 30, 2011.
- DSi - $249 $199 RRP
- DSi XL - $299 $249 RRP
No movement on the 3DS price, obviously.

The official retail price for the Wii console will be dropping to $199 come June 2nd.
In addition they will be revising the console bundle itself. They will be removing the tradional WiiSports title and be replacing it with Mario Kart Wii. Specifically the bundle includes the following and will be available in black or in white:
- Nintendo Wii console
- Wii remote (built in MotionPlus)
- Nunchuck
- Mario Kart Wii
- Wii wheel shell for the remote

Thinking about grabbing a Wii console? Hold off for a day.
Nintendo has just announced that from April 29, Wii consoles will have an RRP of $299 (down from $399).
Expect some serious price drops from retailers very soon. Naturally, EcoGamer is your best source to find out what they are ;D
EDIT - EB has caught on and announced their latest deal - Console, Bigs 2 Baseball and Overlord Dark Legend for $298.
EDIT2 - Gamesmen is doing Console + 2 games (selected) for $299.
EDIT3 - JB - $288 for the black version.
EDIT4 - GAME - $289 with Ninja Turtles

Nintendo have finally announced the DSi price drop we knew was coming. This means that DS RRPs are now:
- DS lite - $199
- DSi - $249
- DSiXL - $299

GAME sell 40gb model PS3s (2nd hand) for $299. Yes, I confirmed in store with 2 employees at separate dates, and 3 people I know have visited different GAME stores and all of them have them at this price. Also, the employee pointed out that this is NOT a promotional rate, but their every day price. Really good price.

In the wake of what is happening overseas, the black Elite model of the Xbox 360 will also be seeing a price drop here in Australia. Starting September 22nd all Elite models will be dropped to $449, a decrease in RRP of 100 dollars.
Also like overseas the Xbox 360 Pro model will be phased out, leaving just the Elite and Arcade models. The Arcade will continue to sell for $299 and the Pro for $399 until there are no more.
Keep an eye out in the coming months for clearance prices on the Pro models as they get wiped off shore shevles.
